We are still in need of funds and help. Please continue your support of the 2019 substance-free graduation celebration. Please consider a donation or sponsorship!
The Titan class of 2019 all-night graduation party happens on Thursday, June 6, 2019! It is a fun, memorable, and safe way to have that last big celebration with all of the senior class. Each year, a volunteer parent committee organizes the drug-free, alcohol-free celebration for our graduating seniors.
- Activities: the list of activities is being finalized and may include golfing, a mechanical bull, DJ with dancing, Money Cube, photo booth, Boxer Bingo, Blackjack with dealers, giant bear pong (big buckets with a volleyball), airbrush tattoos, 4 Xbox stations, 2 billiard tables, a movie room, shuffleboard, corn hole, giant Jenga, and other games (chess, checkers, and cards).
- Food and Drinks: you will not be hungry at this party! Food and drinks will be available throughout the night. The menu is being developed, and last year it included chicken tenders, pulled pork sliders, house-made slaw, assorted Kettle chips, hummus, bread, vegetables, house salad with dressings, slow-smoked chopped brisket, scrambled eggs, house skillet potatoes, flour tortillas, shredded cheese, pico de gallo, tomatillo salsa, chocolate chip cookie bites, injectable donut holes with chocolate cream and raspberry jelly injectors, unlimited fountain soda, coffee, hot tea, iced tea, orange juice, and water.
- Transportation: bus transportation will be provided from and to West Salem High School.
- Supervision: parent chaperones will be at the venue throughout the party.
We do not want to say “no” to any student that wants to attend, so we offer financial assistance for students not able to pay.
The grad party has a significant cost. The students pay for their portion of the admission, but you may be surprised to learn that the ticket sales cover only a fraction of the cost . The parent committee conducts fundraisers throughout the year to make the party accessible to all.
We need help from students’ parents, family members, and other community members to make this event happen. We ask you to send this letter to your contacts to request support of your senior student and the Senior Class Grad Celebration night. You can email the letter to family that lives out of state, friends that are business owners or anyone else you think would like the opportunity to support your senior. Donations can be mailed at WSHS Graduation Party Booster Club, West Salem High School, 1776 Titan Drive NW, Salem OR 97304 or submitted online here!
